Curb Appeal
Begin with the outside of your house, or your curb appeal. Inspect the exterior of your house from a quick glance from the street. What jumps out at you? What unique characteristics seem to fade into the background?
Understanding this helps us to choose what steps we can take to entice buyers from the street and into your house. If your house isn't the best it can look on the outside with retouched paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and raise your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Could a buyer see themselves hanging out in your living space, unwinding in your master bedroom or studying in your home office? We want your home to welcome buyers and offer them a sense of easy living. I'll help you achieve this by recommending changes that highlight the features of your place.
I'll tell you put in storage things that give the illusion of clutter. Counter tops should be clutter-free. Kitschy sculptures, sentimental items, family photos, and refrigerator works of art should get moved out of sight. We'll de-clutter your house. Unsightly or dirty spots make your home look smaller and buyers have a harder time seeing themselves living there.
I'll look over each room of your home. I'll point out the pieces of furniture that should be rearranged, rooms that need new paint, carpet needing to get changed, fixtures that could use shining, and any other improvement that can inexpensively be made to positively affect the sale.
We'll make sure your home has mass appeal and that it's welcoming, staying away from "loud" or "personalized" hues on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can try renting furniture. You want your home to look ready to live in as opposed to bare and uninhabited.

Setting the Stage
In every opportunity, we're doing well if we're engaging the buyer's senses. Brightness is a mood changer and we'll open curtains, and reduce shadows where needed to show off your property. We'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests take a walk-through of your home and ensure a nice fragrance circulates throughout your home. We'll add cozy-looking throws, and throw pillows on your sofa and bedding. We want buyers to feel like your current home is their future home. |
